Menopause / Perimenopause

Balancing your hormones from 30-50 years will support a gracefully transition into menopause.

In the UK, the average age for a woman to reach the menopause is 51.  However, around 1 in 100 women experience the menopause before 40 years of age.

Most women will experience menopausal symptoms. Some of these can be quite severe and have a significant impact on your everyday activities and can last for 10 to 15+ years

Common symptoms include hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and discomfort during intercourse, difficulty sleeping, low mood, lethargic depression, anxiety, reduced sex drive, bladder infections and problems with memory and concentration.

Peri-menopause is the period from 30 to 50yrs when a woman’s ovaries gradually begin to make less estrogen and progesterone.

Women may notice a change to their cycle or a range of symptoms from about 30yrs and sometimes even younger.

These symptoms may include the menopausal symptoms above and/or PMS, unexplained weight gain, cyclical headaches or migraines, early miscarriage, infertility, heavy menstrual bleeding, mood swings, anxiety and foggy thinking.

Following a detailed consultation, a bespoke programme will be created to balance your hormones and relieve symptoms. Whether you are peri-menopausal or in full menopause treatment will help support you through this stage in life.
